If we are made in his image, then "I am He" in the same way that my picture is me.
My picture is not actually me, but it’s an image of me. You, as a person, are way beyond you, as a picture, but when you look at a photo of yourself it’s kind of like you can see an essence of You the person.
Of course you might look different in one photo than you do in another, but it’s the same person in both. "I am He as You are He" in the same way that one picture is me and another picture is still me; and "you are me" in the same way that two pictures of yourself might look like two different people, but it’s the same person in both.
Think about if you took every single photo of yourself ever taken ever, and put them all together. All together they can give a good idea of who you really are. And if you notice what is the same in all of them, you can get an even better picture. So if people are like images then when "we are all together" we can make up a pretty clear picture. And what is common among all of us is what we have in common with Him.
If we are made in his image, then when we all Come Together, WE are He.
